Emergency Response in Lebanon

As the Gaza conflict rages on, Lebanon is experiencing a troubling rise in violence. In the past few days, Israeli airstrikes have escalated, affecting numerous regions, including South Lebanon, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the Bekaa Valley. On a single day, Lebanon recorded over 650 airstrikes targeting residential neighborhoods and critical civilian infrastructure.

The destruction is widespread, forcing thousands of families to flee their homes. Many have sought refuge in schools repurposed as shelters in safer areas of Beirut and surrounding regions. The human toll is devastating. As of Monday, September 23rd, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported nearly 500 civilian deaths, including 35 children, and around 1,700 injured.

Our efforts focus on meeting immediate needs, including bedding, hygiene kits, hot meals, and psychosocial support.

• $40 can provide bedding for one individual in a shelter.
• $50 can supply one displaced family with a hygiene kit.
• $50 can provide two daily hot meals for a family.
• $175 can equip a family with a comprehensive Non-Food Item (NFI) kit.
• $1,000 can support daily psychosocial activities for a busload of children for one week.
